What's built
So far:
- Real headings, landmarks, and lists, and a label on every form field.
- Every link, button, and form works with a keyboard alone.
- A visible outline on whatever has keyboard focus.
- Text and background contrast checked against the AA level, in light and dark mode.
- Nothing carried by color alone. Where a shape is filled or hollow, a word says the same thing.
- Reduced motion honored. If your device asks for less motion, the counters and the timeline don't animate.
- The site works without JavaScript, with three exceptions: the live counts, the "you are here" marker on the timeline, and the check that a letter has a street address before it opens.
What's not done
We haven't tested with real screen reader users yet. Some pages are still being built. This is ongoing work, and we know there are gaps we haven't found.
